The Deputy Mayor of Odessa, Serhiy Kotsyuba, held a meeting with the expert group of the Council for Barrier-Free Environment.
The primary goal is to ensure comfortable and safe movement around the city for individuals with disabilities, veterans, and all mobility-impaired groups.
Currently, an analysis of routes is underway: the condition of pedestrian infrastructure, tourist attractions, service areas, and navigation systems are being assessed.
«We aim for every guest and resident of Odessa to experience the city not only as beautiful but also truly accessible», - noted the advisor to the Mayor of Odessa on barrier-free spaces, Oleksiy Morozov.
The work on the route will take place in several phases and will include consultations with the public, experts, and representatives of mobility-impaired groups.
