Odesa has introduced several new crosswalks now equipped with modern LED lighting. The locations of these new crosswalks are as follows:
- 55 Sim'yi Hlodan St. (Il'f and Petrov);
- 24 Architect St.;
- 44/1 Yevhen Chykalenko St. (Ak. Williams) - Officer St.;
- 178/1 Yevhen Chykalenko St. (Ak. Williams);
- Mill Street - Mykhailivska St.;
- Bohdan Khmelnytsky St. - Prokhorivskyi Lane;
- 15 Starosinna Square.
Specialists from the KУ «SMEP» continue their efforts to improve road safety. As of January 1, 2024, KУ «SMEP» manages 75 unregulated crosswalks equipped with LED lighting systems.
These LED lighting systems provide excellent visibility for pedestrians during twilight and nighttime, allowing drivers to notice them better and significantly enhancing the safety of all road users.
