As of May 4th, stable radiation levels have been recorded in the Odesa region. No locality has reported measurements exceeding the safety threshold.

Radiation Levels in the Odesa Region

According to monitoring data, radiation levels fluctuate between 6 and 17 microsieverts per hour, indicating no radiation hazard in the area. The control level is set at up to 25 µR/h, and all measurements remain significantly below this limit.

The lowest levels were recorded in Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi — only 6 µR/h. In Lyubashivka — 7, in Vylkove — 9, in Rozdilna and Odesa — 10 each, in Zatyshshia, Serbka, Sarata, and Chornomorsk — 11 each. In Balta and Bolhrad — 13 µR/h. The highest measurement was in Yuzhne: 17 µR/h, which is also considered safe.

Experts state that current data indicates a stable environmental situation in the Odesa region. The radiation background poses no threat to public health.
