Last week, the city clinical hospital No. 11 in Odesa was visited by the Deputy Minister of Health of Ukraine, Edem Adamov.
The hospital recently launched a modern cardiology and cardiac surgery department, equipped with state-of-the-art technology. This is a significant step in developing the city’s cardiology infrastructure and improving medical service accessibility for patients.
There are plans to expand diagnostic capabilities, as hospital No. 11 is a key institution providing assistance in polytrauma cases.
During the visit, an assessment of the premises for the installation of MRI - a critical piece of equipment that will allow:
- quickly and accurately determine the extent of injuries in polytrauma patients;
- enhance the quality of injury diagnosis;
- ensure continuity of care without referrals to other hospitals;
- expand capabilities for urgent and planned neurodiagnostics.
«The installation of MRI will be a vital strategic move, reinforcing the role of hospital No. 11 as a powerful clinical center for providing highly specialized care to Odesa residents and visitors,» said Olena Kolodenko, Director of the Health Department of the Odesa City Council.
