On January 25, 2025, the open climbing championship (bouldering) and school cup took place in Odesa.
A total of 72 athletes participated: 40 boys and 32 girls.
The competitors hailed from various institutions including the Specialized Children's and Youth Sports School of Olympic Reserve, Dynamo Sports School, the Odesa Climbing Club, and the private school Krok.
In the age group of 2010-2011, the first place was taken by Yuliya Karaban and Timur Hladkikh, with second place going to Varvara Nimenko and Artem Mykhailov, while third place was awarded to Kostyantyn Ivanov.
Among athletes aged 2012-2013, the winners were Vira Hutsol and Hryhoriy Chaplya, with Melaniya Bodnar and Hay Sukhanov finishing second, and the third place going to Veronika Chernienko and Mark Barzikov.
In the 2014-2015 age category, gold medals were awarded to Maria Kateryva and Yegor Falko, silver went to Kateryna Yatsenko and Yaromyr Shvydky, and bronze medals were received by Serafim Koroyev and Oleksandr Nedoluzhenko.
For the 2016-2017 cohort, Ksenia Tsyrulnykova and Mykhailo Baranov celebrated victory, with Daria Rembovska and David Dolhyk taking second place, and Anna Anfinogenova and Matviy Lypovskyi finishing third.
The youngest participants born in 2018-2019 competed for the CДЮСШОР cup, where Theona Pashaieva and Dmytro Shymkov emerged victorious, followed by Sofia Nazarova and Mykyta Shvydky in second place, and Maya Shcherbina and Yan Krasnoslobodtsev in third.
The athletes who placed were trained by coaches such as Svitlana Svitlychna, Viktor Remnev, Oleksandra Starytska, Liubov Zymova, Tetiana Pashaieva, Nataliia Kopotiienko, Oleksandr Shaparets, Oleksii Krynetskyi, Oleksandr Pavlenko, and Vira Prokopieva.
