The "Chornomorets" stadium in Odessa hosted an exciting football match between the ambitious team FSK "Palmira" and the Ukrainian veterans team, which ended in a penalty shootout victory for the veterans with a score of 3:2. The game was intense and dynamic, showcasing a high level of play from both teams.
According to the UAF press service, FSK "Palmira" - one of the strongest teams in Odessa at the amateur level - faced the veterans in a fierce contest. Right from the start, the home team took the lead with a goal from Ruslan Khvan, giving them a psychological edge.
In the second half, Yurii Maksymov equalized for the veterans, and the match ended in a 1:1 draw after regular time. The fate of the match was decided by a penalty shootout, where the veterans showed greater accuracy, winning 3:2.
"The match was incredibly intense and ended with a score of 3:2 in favor of the veterans in the penalty shootout," reported the UAF press service.
The veterans team comprised players such as Eduard Tsikhmeistruk, Volodymyr Yezerskyi, Yurii Maksymov, Kyrylo Kovalchuk, Oleg Shelayev, Ruslan Kostiushyn, Vitalii Mandziuk, Oleksandr Kasyryn, Dmytro Bezkryk, Viacheslav Sviderskyi, Volodymyr Bondarenko, Mykola Ishchenko, Oleksandr Venglynskiy, and Vadym Milko. This lineup brought together experienced players with significant backgrounds in high-level play.
