From August 21 to 23, 2025, Lviv hosted the Ukrainian Taekwondo (WTF) Championship among juniors and the championship among sports schools.
More than 200 athletes from 19 regions of Ukraine participated in the competitions, eager to display their skills and achievements.
The athletes from the Odesa region, representing the Complex Children and Youth Sports School No. 17, achieved the following results:
Ukrainian Championship among Sports Schools:
Danyil Modnov – 1st place, 51 kg (juniors);
Kyrylo Pavlyuchenko – 3rd place, 68 kg (juniors);
Matviy Lukashuk – 3rd place, 73 kg (juniors);
Ulyana Protsenko – 2nd place, 55 kg (juniors);
Lina Yeremenko – 3rd place, 59 kg (juniors);
Denys Sevastianov – 3rd place, 30 kg (boys).
Ukrainian Championship among Juniors:
Anastasia Volosenko – 1st place, 46 kg;
Danila Komarov – 1st place, 45 kg;
Matviy Lukashuk – 1st place, 68 kg;
Zlatoslava Volosenko – 2nd place, 49 kg;
Danyil Modnov – 3rd place, 51 kg.
The athletes were trained by coaches Viktor Semanyuk and Yuliya Podolyans.
In the taekwondo (WTF) department of Complex Children and Youth Sports School No. 17, there are 133 young athletes training.
