The European Championship in absolute weight categories and the European Cup in kyokushin karate concluded in Bucharest, Romania, featuring 878 participants from 18 countries.
Among the Ukrainian national team were athletes from Odesa.
Yegor Teply won a silver medal in the 14-15 year age category (up to 75 kg), while Yana Strozhenko secured a similar award in the 8-9 year category (up to 30 kg).
Bronze medals were earned by Sofia Vinnychenko (8-9 years, up to 30 kg), Polina Klymenko (10-11 years, up to 30 kg), and Maksym Papov (14-15 years, 60 kg).
The athletes were trained by Serhiy Papov, Vladyslav Panchenko, and Pavlo Vinnychenko.
