Xiaomi intends to invest at least 50 billion yuan (approximately $7 billion) in chip development over the next decade starting in 2025. This was reported by a representative of Xiaomi, according to Reuters.

The founder of Xiaomi, Lei Jun, mentioned that the company has already spent 13.5 billion yuan on the creation of the mobile processor XringO1, with over 2500 specialists working on the project.
