A team of Ukrainian developers has unveiled Clarity, an innovative AI-based program designed to identify military equipment and enemy presence. This was announced by Mykhailo Fedorov, the First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine.

“Previously, analysts spent hours manually analyzing drone intelligence data. Now, Ukrainian specialists have found an effective solution. Meet Clarity – a Ukrainian AI system for analyzing photo and video data,” he emphasized.

According to the official, the program autonomously detects military equipment and signs of enemy presence in images and videos, significantly reducing analysis time by up to 90%. Clarity can operate on a standard laptop.

Mykhailo Fedorov noted that the developers won a startup competition at the Brave1 Hackathon, which enabled them to secure a grant for creating the enhanced version, Clarity Pro.

Clarity Pro features include:

  • rapid decryption of photos and videos;
  • linking images to geographic coordinates;
  • automatic generation of orthophoto maps.

According to the First Deputy Prime Minister, Clarity is already in use by over 250 pilots, analysts, and scouts from various units like “Achilles,” “Nemesis,” “Rubizh,” 40th OBRO, and others. The program is continuously improved based on their feedback.

Additionally, Brave1 recently announced new competitions for the development of military technologies, including explosives manufacturing, autonomous drones, and tactical ballistic missiles. The budget for these projects may reach 100-150 million UAH.

Furthermore, Mykhailo Fedorov stated that a new air-to-air defense system is being developed to protect large territories.
