Acer, a well-known name in computing, is venturing into wearable technology by introducing the FreeSense Ring and AI TransBuds, as reported by Android Authority. Both devices incorporate artificial intelligence for improved functionality.

The Acer FreeSense Ring is a lightweight titanium ring equipped with biometric sensors that monitor heart rate, heart rate variability, blood oxygen levels, and sleep quality. With AI-driven data analysis in a mobile app, users receive personalized health and fitness recommendations. Notably, all features are available without a subscription.

The Acer AI TransBuds are wireless earbuds that provide real-time two-way voice translation. They support 15 languages spoken across Europe, Asia, North and South America, and include subtitle and transcription features to capture conversations. To function fully, the earbuds require a Bluetooth connection to a smartphone via a special receiver.

Both devices will be showcased at Computex 2025, with their market release expected later this year. Acer has yet to disclose pricing and availability details.
