On the occasion of commemorating the fallen Defenders who sacrificed their lives for Ukraine's independence, a ceremony took place in Odesa, where flowers were laid at the memorial sign in the Heroes' burial sector of the city cemetery.
The event was attended by city and regional leaders, families of the fallen, veterans, servicemen, representatives of law enforcement agencies, clergy, and members of the public.
Currently, the city authorities are working alongside the families of the fallen to establish a new Memorial at this site.
