Under the supervision of prosecutors from the Odessa regional prosecutor's office, a series of searches were conducted within a criminal case concerning illegal gambling operations, resulting in the seizure of equipment valued at over 54 million UAH.

According to the investigation, a network of illegal gambling establishments operated in Odessa, functioning without a legal entity, necessary licenses, and tax payments.

The gaming halls were located in non-residential premises and operated discreetly, without signage or advertising. Players were admitted only by prior arrangement or through recommendations from regular clients.

During the authorized searches, more than 3000 units of computer equipment were discovered and seized, including laptops, monitors, system units, servers, mobile phones, cash, and bank cards.

A warehouse was also identified, which was used for storing technical devices and furniture intended for setting up new gaming halls.

The complete circle of individuals involved in organizing and conducting illegal activities is currently being established.

The preliminary investigation is conducted by detectives of the TBU in Odessa region.
