In Odessa, an international conference on cardiology was held.
For two days, the city clinical hospital No. 10 hosted scientific presentations, discussions on critical issues in cardiology, and a practical masterclass based on real surgical interventions as part of the conference titled “Current Issues in the Diagnosis and Treatment of Cardiovascular Diseases”.
Participants emphasized that this event is of great importance for both experienced physicians and medical students.
During a surgery conducted by specialists from Lviv, interventional cardiologists Liliya Sorokhtey and Yuriy Melene, medical professionals from around the globe were able to observe the procedure live.
During the surgery, Dr. Alfonso Ielazi from Galeazzi Hospital (Milan) joined the broadcast to provide commentary.
The topics discussed are relevant not only for today but also for the future of medicine.
The conference featured participation from interventional cardiologist Liliya Sorokhtey from the Ukrainian-Polish Heart Center “Lviv”, Dr. Alfonso Ielazi from Galeazzi Hospital San Ambrogio (Milan, Italy), honored scientist and technologist of Ukraine, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Olena Yakimenko, and the director of city clinical hospital No. 10, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Denys Sebov.
