Vice Prime Minister Mykhailo Fedorov has announced the beta testing of the AI assistant in Diia. The initiative will begin on the portal in June. The assistant will help users find required services and information, with future capabilities for voice interaction.
«We have redefined our approach to Diia. In 2019–2020, we created an intuitive application for quick service access. However, now AI is changing consumer expectations. To stay relevant, we must adapt Diia to the new AI landscape», — emphasized Mykhailo Fedorov.
During DOU Day, the Vice Prime Minister shared that the beta version of the AI assistant would be available in June, allowing users not only to access services but also to find answers to questions, such as which documents are needed for travel abroad.
Additionally, the AI agent is expected to send documents automatically and eventually support the entire service acquisition process. Users will be able to describe their situation, and the assistant will provide recommendations. For instance, if a user states, «a rocket hit my house», the AI agent will understand that they need the eRecovery service and will forward the application to the relevant commission.
Future plans also include voice request capabilities, allowing users to interact with Diia more naturally.
