Google has denied claims regarding serious security issues within Gmail, emphasizing that it did not send any mass warnings to its users.
This situation arose following a phishing attack on Salesforce, which Google first reported in June, and announced on August 8 that all affected users had been notified.
"We want to reassure our users that Gmail's security is robust and effective," the company stated.
Google further clarified that their protective measures block over 99.9% of phishing attempts and malicious attacks. The company also recommends using secure alternatives to passwords, such as passkeys, for enhanced account security.
