Today, April 8, around 9:00 AM on the Odessa-Reni highway near the village of Sarata in the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi district, a tragic traffic accident took place. According to the press service of the Main Directorate of the National Police of Odessa region, it has been preliminarily established that a 47-year-old woman from the Plakhtiyivka community, driving a Chevrolet car, crossed into the opposite lane, where her vehicle collided with a Mercedes truck with a semi-trailer heading towards Odessa. The female driver was hospitalized but unfortunately succumbed to her injuries in the hospital. The truck driver, a 51-year-old resident of the Podilskyi district, will be checked for intoxication. A criminal investigation team and patrol police officers are working at the scene. After determining the circumstances, legal qualifications will be assigned.
