Solar Power Initiatives in Odesa Region Hospitals

In Ovidiopol and Bilyaivka, the installation of solar power stations has begun, marking a significant step towards energy independence for hospitals and ensuring their uninterrupted operation even during power outages.

Ovidiopol hospital will feature a 70 kW power station.

Bilyaivka hospital will become one of the most powerful in the region with a 500 kW station.

This project is being implemented through a partnership between the hospitals and the Lithuanian company UAB Solet, with funding support from the Government of Lithuania for the equipment.

The equipment has already arrived, and installation work is currently underway. Soon, both healthcare facilities will be able to operate partially autonomously, independent of the main electricity grid.

We express our sincere gratitude to international partners for their efforts in strengthening Ukrainian healthcare and ensuring its resilience during wartime.
